Teaching assistant praises Peaceworks in schools

As the new academic year kicks off, Peaceworks are as busy as ever with our peer mediation programme in schools.  Encouraging kids to grow up with a better understanding about how to defuse conflict and achieve a positive outcome is what Peaceworks is all about.  Lois, a Teaching Assistant, kindly wrote to us after our recent programme saying...

"I totally see the skills you are teaching these children as life skills that they need to learn so they can grow up to be thoughtful, considerate and caring adults."  That's our aim, and judging from our continuing busy schedule, it's where our children are going.
