Jo Bartlett

Jo has a legal background and trained as a mediator with Clerksroom (London) which is accredited by the Civil Mediation Council.  Jo became an accredited mediator in August 2009. 

She attended the Peaceworks Advanced Mediation course in February 2010, and has been associated with Peaceworks since then.  She is also a mediator for the West Sussex Mediation Service.  A keen and enthusiastic mediator, she continues to develop her professional mediation skills, for example Jo undertook intergenerational training in September 2010.

An active community mediator, who has seen the positive effect of mediation on many occasions, Jo is qualified to mediate community and commercial disputes.

Jo practised as a litigation solicitor specialising in maritime law, before taking a career break to spend time with her family.  She now works for the Citizens Advice Bureau in training and adviser roles.
