Commercial Mediation
"I have known Chris for more than 5 years. We have worked together on a number of mediation initiatives and have made joint presentations. In early October 2010 Chris worked with me on a multi-million pound commercial dispute that I was mediating. I found his grasp of commercial mediation to be excellent and his assistance and input on that mediation was considerable. I believe that Chris is more than competent to mediate legal and small commercial disputes. With increasing experience he will, I think, be excellent at mediating all such disputes."

Workplace Mediation
"Micha was terrific and put everyone at their ease and gave everyone plenty of opportunity to say their bit. I hugely enjoyed working alongside him". Manager of Urban Trust, February 2011.
"I would recommend Peaceworks to all who require a mediation service. They surpassed all of my expectations and the outcome was better than I had hoped for. My life was changed by this process and I am truly grateful to have gone through this process"
LE - team member, Connecticut, USA - July 2008
"I was amazed at the outcome, how a difficult working relationship was resolved by simply breaking down various levels by Peaceworks. Both parties came away with a far better understanding of each others' working ways. ..... I am delighted to have been through today's experience as this not only helped today but dealing with others and their perception of people's characters and communication. Many thanks. I will remember this". Manager, Havens Hospices. November 2011
Primary Schools
"Although we undertook our initial Peaceworks training a few years ago [2003-2005], I am happy to say that the impact has been substantial and long-lasting! Each year-group builds in the time annually to revisit the lessons that were initially shared with us; although they have been tweaked over the years to reflect more up to date DVD clips and the teaching styles of the teachers. The content has clear objectives and is very supportive in helping children to develop self-discipline, analyse situation reflectively and recognise the steps they need to take if conflict ensues.
"Our Year 6 peer mediators (self-named, 'The Kerfuffle Busters') are well-established and play a valuable role in promoting strategies to help children resolve their playtime issues and create peace and harmony. This works particularly well because of the dedication of the member of staff who organises the mediators each year; she completely subscribes to the thinking behind this initiative and is very pro-active in her support.
"We have found the whole Peaceworks experience a very productive one with very positive input from the session leaders. Equally the twilight session you lead with our staff and the Infant School staff was really enlightening and extremely supportive in helping staff to understand how best to go about resolving conflict with adults, be it parents or other staff.
"It is difficult to say categorically what the impact on our pupils has been but I really do feel they are generally more confident, better able to resolve their own issues and perhaps most important of all, the majority of children are respectful and caring towards each other."

Secondary Schools
"Chris Seaton and his team carried out Peer Mediation with students from St Andrew's in order to help them work more effectively within their 'Welfare' and 'Assistant Student Teacher' teams. The contact established prior to the meeting ensured clear understanding of the school's need and requirements and allowed us to establish realistic aims for the day's training. The resources used during the training were appropriate and suited our needs. The sessions were led in a very competent and professional manner. Our students were more confident to carry out the work which we asked of them following their training. Chris and his team have remained in contact with the school and allowed clear and continued communication to continue."
Paula Leclerc, Coordinator for PSHCEE and Careers, St Andrew's CE High School for Boys, October 2010
"It is a good experience and will help make a difference in the school community. It's a great opportunity to develop skills in communication which can help you in later life" Year 9 student St Philip Howard School, September 2011.
