Comment by 'grace_jones@ntlworld.com' on What sort of Mediator do I need?

My son and his wife are unable to communicate properly as it always breaks down, however I have been doing this for him with a limited amount of success because she wants it all her own way, for my son to have the child in my house in which he lives, even on days when he is working, communications between her and I have now finally broken down and she has said that she is going to go to mediation, my question is, will my son have to pay for this (he is not entitled to legal aid but is on a very tight budget and she lives a long way away) he cannot afford a solicitor to be there but as she gets benefit I have no doubt that she will get all the help she wants, so if she has a solicitor there, can he have his dad or me there for support, also what if he refuses to go, there is a divorce pending.
